Kids in the quiet room at TriHealth Family PavilionLocation: Cincinnati, OH
Construction Schedule: January – March 2020
Customer: The Cincinnati Reds
Architect: Nelson Worldwide (formerly FRCH Nelson)

The Great American Ball Park, home of the Cincinnati Reds, is a favorite attraction for families. Now, they have yet another space to enjoy, thanks to the completion of the TriHealth Family Pavilion.

This wasn’t the only amenity renovation completed for the 2020 baseball season.

The outdoor areas include a playground, batting cages, seating areas, a bar, and even large family-size swings with sweeping views of the river, the city, and the game.

The HGC crew demoed the interior of an existing concession stand on the View Level. This space was then converted into three separate indoor spaces for the different needs of families.

  • Sensory Room – a quiet space a variety of sensory-based toys and experiences for children who may have become overstimulated
  • Play Room – a simple getaway for kids who just aren’t as into baseball. Plush sitting areas, books, chalkboards, and an assortment of small toys
  • Nursing Suite – a cozy, private environment for mothers of the very young. Comfortable chairs, soothing lighting, plus sinks and changing tables

The HGC crew added new HVAC, electrical, and plumbing. The project also required a complete façade restoration of the area.
