Each month we highlight one member from our team. This month, get to know Safety Manager, Jonathan Mosmeier, who is a vital part of HGC’s award-winning safety culture. Learn more about our commitment to safety. Jonathan already had eight years of construction experience when he joined HGC Construction as a Field Safety Auditor. After several years of exemplary work, he was promoted to Safety Manager for the entire Group of Companies. He provides direct safety oversight to Stanton Millworks and Stewart Iron Works, while still remaining heavily involved in the strategies and initiatives at SSRG and HGC. Learn more about the HGC’s Safety Program awards. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PART OF WORKING AT HGC? My favorite aspect of working here is the people. I love the way that, for the most part, no one really sugar coats anything and tells it like it is. Meet more incredible HGC employees. WHAT WOULD YOU DO (FOR A CAREER) IF YOU WEREN’T DOING THIS? I would like to think that I would be a fishing or hunting guide somewhere. WHAT WAS THE MOST UNUSUAL OR INTERESTING JOB YOU HAVE EVER HAD? Before working at HGC I worked in the private security industry where I was lucky enough to work with the secret service and a few professional sports teams. WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO ON YOUR DAYS OFF?
