Construction has begun at Pilot Chemical in Middletown, Ohio. HGC is the Construction Manager for this 2,000 SF addition to Pilot’s existing facility. Pilot Chemical is a specialty chemical company providing high quality products and services to a variety of industries. The company was founded in Lockland, Ohio, in 1963. After years of growth and expanding into other markets, they opened a facility in Middletown in 1985. The facility is in need of an addition in order to increase efficiencies and customer service. HGC will complete the 2,000 SF addition, which includes the construction of the entire building, minor site paving, and tying in to the existing facility. Construction began in Mid-June, but the work is just now becoming more visible to the public eye. The concrete slab was poured on August 2, a major milestone in the early stages of any project. Soon the crew will begin setting the building steel.
