Tomas started as a Co-Op back in 2017, when he was part of the team renovating Amity Elementary [4]. Since then, he has been a part of several of our high-profile logistics warehouse renovations [5].
WHAT IS YOUR PERSONAL PHILOSOPHY?
Give all you have in everything you do. Own your mistakes, learn from them and make things right. Always be honest and humble.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PART OF WORKING AT HGC?
The culture of the company and the people I get to work with every day. Is a great but rare combination tough to find elsewhere.

I lived in England for one year when I was 20, worked as bartender and let my hair grow about 15 inches long.
WHAT WAS THE MOST UNUSUAL OR INTERESTING JOB YOU HAVE EVER HAD?
Tutoring high school kids in math, chemistry and physics. It was very interesting to see how different are the learning techniques and difficulties each person can have.
WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO ON YOUR DAYS OFF?
Play Soccer and Golf, watch sports and explore the world with my wife, baby and dog.
WHAT’S THE BEST PIECE OF ADVICE YOU’VE EVER RECEIVED?
My Grandfather once told me “Don’t ever let undermining comments affect you. You know who you are and what you are capable of, that is all that matters”.
WHAT WOULD BE THE TITLE OF YOUR AUTOBIOGRAPHY?
Venezuelan, British and Short!
IF YOU HAD TO EAT ONE MEAL EVERY DAY FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE, WHAT WOULD IT BE?
Of course it has to be Arepas, a Venezuelan typical dish done with precooked white cornmeal flour, which you can fill with whatever you want.
