Location: Cincinnati, OH Customer: Hyde Park Community Methodist Church Architect: MSA Architects HGC Role: Construction Manager The Hyde Park Community Methodist Church third floor renovation created spaces for the relocated youth program, job focus group and administration offices. The project consisted of interior wall demolition, reconfiguration of the existing HVAC system, plumbing and electrical systems, new walls, floors, ceilings and finish millwork. The first floor renovation combined three existing rooms and two existing restrooms into two new traditional restrooms and one family restroom. This phase involved significant plumbing, electrical and HVAC relocation. Finishes included high-end tile, painting, toilet compartments, counter tops and window replacements. This contract also required relocation of one Association of Harems United (AHU) to service the community gathering space outside of the sanctuary, turning an existing AHU over to the church and providing and installing a new AHU to replace the relocated unit. All work for both of these contracts was completed while the church was fully operational.
