HGC Construction served as the general contractor to provide general construction services for the new seven-story patient care tower at Bethesda North Hospital. The 328,000 SF tower includes 127 new private medical-surgical patient rooms; 32 state-of-the-art replacement ICU rooms; eight new private postpartum maternity rooms; an on-site MRI; new parking garage; and a new cafeteria. General construction services for this project included: Overhead coiling and automatic doors, Cabinet curtain tracks, Commercial laundry equipment, Head wall protection panels, Doors, frames and hardware, Wall protection, Handrails, Corner stands, Toilet accessories and partitions, Lockers, Fire extinguishers. This project was completed with the existing hospital functioning at full capacity and with minimal disruptions.
