City leaders gathered on Saturday, June 12 to lead a ribbon cutting of the updated Court Street Plaza. The reimagined streetscape features wider sidewalks for increased pedestrian traffic as well as outdoor dining.

The moment of the ribbon cutting featured local leaders including Mayor John Cranley, CEO of Kroger Company Rodney McMullen, and other key stakeholders. The project team brought together HGC, 3CDC [4], Woolpert [5], and Human Nature [6].

One more appeal to the new plaza includes the ability to close the street entirely to traffic. This will increase options for festivals and concerts. The project hopes to encourage a more robust sense of community in the heart of Cincinnati.
