The moment of the ribbon cutting featured local leaders including Mayor John Cranley, CEO of Kroger Company Rodney McMullen, and other key stakeholders. The project team brought together HGC, 3CDC [4], Woolpert [5], and Human Nature [6].
One more appeal to the new plaza includes the ability to close the street entirely to traffic. This will increase options for festivals and concerts. The project hopes to encourage a more robust sense of community in the heart of Cincinnati.
