The reimagined streetscape features wider sidewalks for increased pedestrian traffic as well as outdoor dining. Check out project progress just a few months ago. The project completion included several events through the weekend. A mural unveiling occurred on Friday afternoon. The ribbon cutting on Saturday also featured a full-day market. Sunday hosted a “Court Street Cruise-In” for car enthusiasts. Live music and food vendors filled the weekend. Explore another outdoor space recently completed by HGC. The moment of the ribbon cutting featured local leaders including Mayor John Cranley, CEO of Kroger Company Rodney McMullen, and other key stakeholders. The project team brought together HGC, 3CDC, Woolpert, and Human Nature. One more appeal to the new plaza includes the ability to close the street entirely to traffic. This will increase options for festivals and concerts. The project hopes to encourage a more robust sense of community in the heart of Cincinnati. Want to join a team that reinvents community spaces?
