HGC is a trusted partner of an international e-commerce giant, completing quick renovations for last-mile delivery stations and logistics processing centers across the Midwest. One the most high-profile projects was a $46MM warehouse renovation in Wilmington, which finished to high satisfaction of the client. Teams are now currently completing two large projects in two different cities. Check out HGC’s industrial project portfolio. Cincinnati, Ohio The first phase of this project, a warehouse fit-out, was completed in January 2020. The 92,000 SF warehouse renovation lasted from October 2019 – January 2020 and resulted in a new last-mile delivery station with break rooms and offices. Teams are now constructing a new load-out canopy. The canopy is 432ft long by 93ft wide and requires 146 tons of structural steel. The foundations required 120 auger cast piles—5 at each of 24 columns. The canopy structure will receive lighting, sprinkler systems, and finishes and will ultimately house up to 50 delivery vans for load out procedures. The teams are currently in the demolition phase of the warehouse, preparing for the fit-out. The warehouse will receive new office block construction, MEPF systems, new truck docks, and new security and data systems, site work, and parking lot improvements. There will also be construction of a new 14,000 SF canopy for load-in and load-out. The project has an estimated budget of $9MM and is expected to wrap up in early 2021.
