HGC’s work on The Seven Hills School’s Schiff Center, a top-of-the-line auditorium and arts facility, received an Award of Excellence in Construction from ABC Ohio Valley Chapter [1]. The Excellence in Constructions Gala honors the skill and creativity of the entire team responsible for an outstanding Merit Shop construction project. Award recipients exceed expectations in innovation and quality.

The final product is an incredible performing arts venue. It is 43,710 SF, and holds an auditorium seating for approximately 500 people; wing and fly spaces to support large casts and full-scale scenery; dedicated rehearsal spaces; and state-of-the-art technology to support presentations and performances; three large classrooms for theater, choir, and instrument ensembles; and a professional-level tech booth and catwalk.

The project was a great success. The Seven Hills School Director of Finance and Operations praised, “As the building stands completed today, the School can say that we chose [HGC Construction] wisely. The Schiff Center is all that the School envisioned and was completed on budget.”
