HGC is widely known as the local expert in historic restorations, playing a vital role in numerous high-profile and award-winning projects. It is no surprise, then, that HGC has worked closely with the Cincinnati Preservation Association. The Cincinnati Preservation Assocation is a local non-profit, declaring as its mission “to promote the appreciation, protection and appropriate use and development of the Cincinnati region’s historic buildings, communities and landscapes.” Several of HGC’s historic restoration projects have received the CPA’s Rehabilitation Award, including: Baldwin Apartments The Strietmann Center Cincinnati Zoo Reptile House Saengerhalle The Cincinnati Preservation Association publishes a quarterly newsletter that contains current preservation issues, upcoming educational programs, opportunities for funding and training, and more. Their Spring edition featured an interview with HGC’s President, Mike Huseman, and the VP of Marketing and Communications, Paul Moran. Moran is also a member of the CPA Board of Trustees.
