[1]When Spring is in the air, it’s hard to not get excited about all things new. At HGC, we are definitely excited about the new projects we have happening, and we are humbled to be a part of the growth and expansion occurring in our region.
Every year in January, nearly 100 of our supervisors and emerging leaders gather for what we call Desired Outcomes. After a long week, we dedicate a Friday afternoon to reconnecting with each other. But it isn’t just about socializing (though that’s certainly an enjoyable part).
Desired Outcomes is about visualizing what we want to see for ourselves in the years to come. It’s about visualizing the person you want to be, personally and professionally. It’s about visualizing the company we want to be [2], and what we want to achieve together. And sharing these outcomes provides a window into each other’s worlds, as well as the chance to speak our visions into reality. It is a refreshing and empowering activity that helps us build ourselves every day.
I encourage you to drop by the office this season. I would enjoy the opportunity to catch up, and take you to the Armory Meeting Room to give you a peek into the DNA of our company.
