Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony Marks the Completion of Rumpke
Celebration was in order yesterday at the Rumpke container maintenance facility in Colerain Township marking the completion of construction. Jeff Rumpke, Regional Vice President of the Cincinnati Market, did the honors of cutting the ribbon, alongside Bill Rumpke Sr., President Emeritus, and many other contributing members to the planning and construction of this new facility including Architects Plus and the Colerain Board of Trustees. Following the ceremony, guests received a guided tour of the grounds to get a better look at what new features Rumpke has in store.
The container maintenance facility is used to upkeep all Rumpke trucks and store waste/recycle bins. This facility will house Rumpke’s tire shop, welding and painting operations. New and innovative features include a power washing area, sanding rooms with high-tech filtration systems, and painting stations. Right now, 50 total employees work at this location, but Rumpke expects that number to grow in the next year.
HGC began construction on the new 77,000 SF facility back in May of 2017 with our total construction time being 10 months. The building processes included using concrete tilt-up construction and metal siding hybrid.
