Cubesmart Madisonville

It isn’t any secret that the Madisonville/Oakley area in Cincinnati, OH is growing…and quickly. In the past few years, apartment complexes have been popping up all over the area, accommodating the needs of college students, young professionals, growing families, and baby-boomers alike. With the influx of apartment complexes comes the need for more storage. Enter Hickory Capital Group, a Tennessee based company, bringing a 3-story self-storage facility to Madison Road.

Hickory Capital Group purchased and demolished the BBQ Revue building at 4725 Madison Road to make room for Cubesmart, an 82,000 SF facility expected to be complete in April of 2018. The new self-storage facility will be LEED silver certified and will hold an investment value of about $7 million, according to city of Cincinnati documents.

HGC Construction is the general contractor for the project, with Dan Kiley from Cresa Cincinnati serving as project manager. Pennsylvania-based CubeSmart will be the property manager for the building, which will be branded as a CubeSmart facility. CubeSmart is a real estate investment trust and provider of self-storage facilities. It is the fourth-largest owner and operator of self-storage facilities in the U.S.
