HGC Construction provided design/build construction services to Spectrum (formerly Time Warner Cable) to expand the square footage of their existing hubsite facility. The project was constructed around a smaller existing building that required all equipment to stay connected and online during the overbuild of the building. Three walls of the existing structure were incorporated into the exterior skin of the new building. Once the entire shell was enclosed the interior wall of the original building was removed while supporting the roof structure of the original building.

By building over the original structure, HGC was able to eliminate multiple service interruptions and incurred costs from the potential loss of service.
