The HGC team recently constructed a new bar concept, Aster Social Sippery. [3]Located at 8 E. Fourth Street in downtown Cincinnati, Ohio, the space is on the third story. The project required a full gut and renovation, bringing new life to a prime urban location.
Aster Social Sippery features cocktails with locally-sourced herbs and a delectable snack menu. The bar is situated two stories above a picturesque café, Sleepy Bee [4]. There are many remarkable features of the Aster space, including a patio with nearly wall-to-wall doors. When opened, the indoor bar and outdoor patio feel like one cohesive space.
Another stunning feature is the wood trusses situated atop Aster’s 25-foot ceilings. HGC successfully extracted the heavy wood timbers from the original structure and reworked them prominently into the upscale bar.
