Why couldn’t HGC—known for craftsmanship—get involved in craft beer? It was a no-brainer to partner with Taft’s Brewing Company. One our early large renovations in OTR was the restoration of St. Paul’s German Evangelical Church, which became Taft’s Ale House. The talented brewers at Taft’s loved the idea of creating a custom micro-brew that captures the spirit of our industry. And our friends at BLDG (the team that helped us craft “Build Every Day” and our Holiday Survival Kit) added their usual visual edge. And thus, the Builder’s Brew was born. An IPA, the Builder’s Brew is drawn up to provide just the right balance of bitterness and floral notes. It is measured twice, brewed once, to deliver a delightfully finished product.
