WHAT IS YOUR PERSONAL PHILOSOPHY? Hard work. Tell is as it is. Get straight to the point, and the truth will get you further.

WHAT IS YOU FAVORITE ASPECT OF WORKING AT HGC? The family atmosphere. I come to work every day wanting to work, and I don’t view this place as a job.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO ON YOUR DAYS OFF? Spend time with family, working at the house or heading to the lake.

WHAT IS THE FIRST THING YOU WOULD DO IF YOU WON THE LOTTERY? Get a bigger boat.

WHAT WOULD YOU DO (FOR A CAREER) IF YOU WEREN’T DOING THIS? Architectural Design.

WHAT HAS CHANGED THE MOST AT HGC ACROSS YOUR CAREER? I can remember the days when HGC was hesitant to bid on a 6 million dollar school. Now it is nothing for us to bid on a 40 million dollar project. HGC has come a long way in the last 13 years.

WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO A NEW HIRE? Hard work pays off. Spend the time dedicating yourself to learning as much as you can, and don’t be afraid to get your hands dirty.
