The Cincinnati Preservation recently awarded HGC Construction with a CPA 2017 Rehabilitation Award for its work renovating the Strietmann Biscuit Co. Building into Class A office space and retail for the client, Grandin Properties.
Each year, the Cincinnati Preservation Association recognizes projects that restore community icons, repurpose neglected buildings and preserve the urban fabric that makes the region unique and vibrant.
Grandin Properties received the long-awaited $1.2 million Ohio Historic Preservation Tax Credits [1] in June of 2016. The 90,000 SF historic renovation of the seven-story structure took roughly a year. With the core and shell completed, work has now begun on tenant fit-outs. We are pleased to be the Construction Manager for this project.
