HGC Construction Chosen for $6M Self Storage Development in Downtown Cincinnati

Hickory Capital Group purchased 512 Reading Road and the Mill End Drapery Building at 26 W. Seventh Street with plans to convert the two buildings into 650 self-storage units. The investment to convert the buildings will be approximately $6 million.

Along with many other local companies, HGC Construction has been selected as the construction manager for the development. Due to the urban setting of the storage units, they will be smaller in size. The target demographic is city-dwellers who need storage to fit items that will not fit in their urban apartment, condo, or town-home. Ellsworth, of Hickory Capital, sees this as an under-served market in the downtown Cincinnati region.
